Local author comes home for his debut book signing

Charlottesville native Eddie Howard spent much of his adult life in prison before turning his life over to Jesus with the help of a prison chaplain, and has devoted his life to ministry ever since. He formerly served as the Men's Ministry Coordinator at Charlottesville Abundant Life Ministries and has taught in prison and mentored men coming out of prison. He currently serves as a facilitator for Fathers in Training in Virginia Beach, teaching men how to be effective fathers and husbands. His new book, Still Convicted: A Story of Redemption, Reconciliation, and Restoration, tells of his journey from addiction and bondage to freedom and service. Howard will be reading from his book, leading a discussion with the audience, answering questions, and selling and signing copies of Still Convicted. Admission is free and refreshments will be served.
