Making his first hometown appearance since last October, author Eddie Howard will speak at the first annual Community Recovery for all Neighborhoods United (CRANU) event on Saturday, Sept. 17 from 1-4pm at Sprint Pavilion in Charlottesville. Minister Howard will also be selling and signing copies of his debut book, Still Convicted: A Story of Redemption, Reconciliation, and Restoration.
Hosted by Region Ten and other community partners, CRANU aims to strengthen community and celebrate culture while addressing the drug epidemic and highlighting help available through many avenues, including Region Ten. The event will feature live music, food, door prizes, BCBA dancers, and motivational speaker Alex-Zan. Minister Howard will be signing books from 12:30-2pm and speaking at 2:30pm.
