Eddie Howard among featured speakers at Project Daddyman on May 23

On Tuesday, May 23 in Virginia Beach, Gentlemen Making a Change presents Project Daddyman, a conference for "single mother, fathers, and future fathers" on raising young boys into men. The free event at Green Run High School will feature speakers Eddie Howard, Bobby Huntley (author of Mothers Please), and Indian River Assistant Football Coach Cadillac Harris. In addition to speaking to parents about re-entering their child's life, Howard will be selling and signing copies of his debut book, Still Convicted.

Gentlemen Making a Change is a mentoring program at Green Run High School that has served over 600 male students in 11 years. Formerly known as the Daddyman Conference, this is the third annual Daddyman event, and the second at which Howard has spoken. For more information on Project Daddyman, see the Evensi listing and the New Journal and Guide's article: Mentoring Program Supports Boys Into Manhood.
